Team-lead role growing a white-labeled trade portal and a consumer tyre-fitting widget across the UK market
As team lead at a UK tyre-industry software company, the job was to keep two connected platforms already in production shipping new features and onboarding new enterprise accounts, without destabilizing live systems already processing significant transaction volume: a white-labeled B2B trade ordering portal used by wholesalers to sell to their trade customers, and a consumer-facing e-commerce widget that let independent garages sell tyre fitting online.
Led feature development across both products, acted as the technical point of contact for enterprise accounts, configured new tenants and wired ERP/VRM (vehicle registration lookup) integrations for onboarding, and hardened core services to reduce operational overhead — as part of a small internal engineering team, not a solo build.
